Ronald Billius 'Ron' Weasley was sixth born to his mother Molly and father Arthur Weasley on the 1st of March 1980. He is the younger brother of Charlie, William, Percy, Fred and George Weasley and older brother of Ginny Weasley. He comes from a working class, magical family that are purebloods, whom live in a large house called 'The Burrow'. While being funny, sarcastic and witty, Ron is extremely arachnophobic.Like his parents and all five brothers before him, he was accepted into Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry when he was eleven years old. He was accompanied by his pet rat 'Scabbers' who had been in his family for ten years. While getting onto Platform 9 3/4 he was acquainted with Harry Potter whom he later became friends with on Hogwarts Express. While travelling to Hogwarts Ron told Harry I'm the sixth in our family to go to Hogwarts. You could say I've got a lot to live up to. Bill and Charlie have already left -- Bill was head boy and Charlie was captain of Quidditch. Now Percy's a prefect. Fred and George mess around a lot, but they still get really good marks and everyone thinks they're really funny. Everyone expects me to do as well as the others, but if I do, it's no big deal, because they did it first. You never get anything new, either, with five brothers. I've got Bill's old robes, Charlie's old wand, and Percy's old rat. They later met Hermione Granger whom Ron thought was a show off. They arrived at Hogwarts and Ron was placed in Gryffindor House like his whole family before him, along with Harry and Hermione. He was often too lazy to bother with his studies but passed his classes regardless. He joked to his friends about Hermione being a 'know-it-all' to which she spent all day crying in the bathroom. It was revealed that a troll was loose in the castle so Ron and Harry went looking for Hermione to warn her and found themselves fighting it off in order to save her. They were awarded 5 points each for their luck in defeating the troll, and the three became best friends. Upon trespassing in the castle, they found a giant three-headed dog standing on a trap door to which they found curious, and confided in their friend Hagrid whom accidentally told them about Nicholas Flamel. After research they got information on the Philosophers Stone and decided to get past the dog and look for it. During their search they had to play wizard chess to continue to which Ron was knocked unconscious and taken to the hospital wing. Harry found the stone and Ron was awarded 50 point for his chess skills, leading them to win the house cup. The school year ended and they all went home for the sumer.Ron and Hermione go on to get married and have two children; first a girl named Rose and later a boy named Hugo.
