He joins The Order of the Phoenix when it sprouts a second time by Dumbledore, the headquarters being Sirius Black's old home, Number Twelve Gimmuald Place. Kingsley is part of the Advanced Guard that brings Harry from Little Whinging to Gimmuald Place in the fifith book. He was always sent on orders to find and catch Sirius Black, thought to be a Death Eater, but lied for him giving people false directions of his whereabouts. In the fifth film/book he is one of the people that come to rescue Harry and his friends in The Department of Mysteries.SPOILERS BELOW!!!In the sixth book, he becomes the Muggle Prime Minister's secretary, protecting him from Voldemort. In the seventh book, he risks his life for Harry, being one of the protectors for the transport of him to The Burrow when Lily's love charm has lifted. At the end, he becomes of the three with Slughorn and McGonagall dueling Voldemort before Harry defeats him.
