Alec is one of the younger members of the Volturi. Aro saw potential in him and his twin sister Jane many years ago, but before they could be burned at the stake at 12 or 13 he saved them and made them into vampires. Alec has the ability to cut off someone's senses (this can be a large group, not just one) so he can remove your sight, your sense of smell, hearing and touch, nor could anyone under his focus taste anything. However, Bella Swan is immune to his ability completely, as she is immune to any ability that affects her mind. Alec is not a major character in the book series, although he is crucial in Breaking Dawn. In Eclipse he shows up with felix, jane and another volturi guard member to see the fight, but they were a tad late. Like his sister he has red/brown hair but it is mostly brown. Unlike his sister who inflicts pain that really isint there, he can cut of senses. He like edward, bella, alice and jasper and bella's daughter, he has a specialy gift/ability. Edwards is mind reading or telepathy, bella's is reflection (reflects things that hurt her mind), alice is to see the future though it can change, and jasper's is to control emotion, edward and bella's daughter's is to send images of the person she is thinking of to that person, shown in breaking dawn part 2. it is a combination of both her parents. Mind reading and Reflection. she reflects her thoughts into pictures and sends them to someone by touching them. Alec and jane's abilities are different yet similar also.
