Bree is a newborn vampire who was created by Riley. Victoria created Riley to make her a Newborn Army of vampires to avenge her late mate's death, James. James was killed by Edward in Twilight , and Victoria seeks revenge. She wants to take Bella away from Edward. A eye for an eye, as Laurent tells Bella. Victoria creates an army of newborn vampires, and teenage Bree is made into one of the newborn soldiers by Riley so that she wouldn't know who was creating the army.When the battle outside of Forks, led by Victoria and her 'companion' Riley ends, Bree is forced to surrender. Carlisle allows her to live if she swears off human blood and does not attempt to defend herself any further.
