Pulaski has a sometimes adversarial relationship with Captain Jean-Luc Picard as the two differ over their approaches to things. Although both considers the other stubborn, they also respect each other.Pulaski has a general wariness with some technology which initially extends to Lt. Commander Data. She was dismissive of him and took time to learn to treat him as a sentient being.She can be abrasive and is incredibly dedicated to her work, sometimes to the detriment of her personal relationships.Background: She served as the chief medical officer on the USS Repulse under Captain Taggert before joining the Enterprise-D.She authored a research paper about the manner through which disease spreads through the body, Linear Models of Viral Propagation, that is used in teaching.
