It was revealed the prison group survived about a year of the food in the prison cafeteria and used the restroom in the prison, something that caused Rick to puke. Tomas tried to keep the prison, but helped cleaned out the prison cell block, Tomas and the prisoners did not know how to fight the walkers. After killing Big Tiny, Tomas tried to overthrow Rick's group, landing in him being stabbed in the head by Rick. Tomas was assisted by Andrew, who ran, later returned and was then killed by Oscar.
