Introduced as the doctor of Woodsbury. She operated on the crashed pilot, who was beheaded and handed to the Governor for his collection . Dr. Stevens was rather rude to Andrea and Michonne and showed her loyalty to the Governor and her new home, Woodsbury. Dr. Stevens is presumed to be one of the individuals killed during Rick's group saving of Maggie, Glenn, Daryl and Merle.In the comics, Doc Stevens is an elderly white man. He is not loyal to the Governor, and along with Martinez and Alice, his assistant, helps free Rick, Glenn and Michonne. However as Doc Stevens tried to leave Woodsbury himself and make it to the prison, he was bitten by a walker and left to die. His assistant Alice, accidentally left her walker out, allowing Carol to commit suicide. Alice was tragically shot in the head defending the survivors from the Governor's onslaught on the prison.
