He is charming, witty, and cultured, but his calm demeanor can quickly become a ferocious, animalistic rage when tested.He believes humans have squandered the Earth.His lover is the young Greek vampire Talbot Angelis, whom Russell turned 700 years ago and has been with since. He is extremely attached to Talbot and does not handle it well when he is threatened.Background: He was born around 850 B.C. in a Celtic community of Pagan Druids and was known as Korun, which means raven. He adopted his current name after traveling to America with the rum trade during Prohibition.
