He comes to believe that humans are right to fear vampires and he wants to do something to atone.When he re-enters Eric's life, Godric is the vampire sheriff of Area 9 in Dallas, Texas and has been for at least 100 years.Background: Godric was born sometime in the first century in Gaul and was captured by the Roman army.
