Rachel Gatina is characterised as a manipulative bitch at the beginning of season 3. She attempts to take Brookes place as cheerleadingcaptain and as girlfriend of Lucas. She and Mouth become good friends until Rachel reveals to him that she is the one who released the time capsule leading to the school schooting. During a weekend in the woods with their group of friends, to heal from the school-schooting and Keiths death, it is revealed that Rachel had lots of plastic surgery to become the beautiful young woman she is now. She used to be quite a big girl with very low self-esteem. She pretends to be a 26-year old model to seduce Nathans hot uncle Cooper. When he finds out her real age, he ends the relationship. Rachel won't accept their break-up and tries to get Cooper back, she makes a big scene at Nathan and Haleys wedding day and steals their 'just married'-limo. Only to drive it into the river while fighting with Cooper. Nathan saves them both from drowning which leads to Rachel falling for him. She tries to steal him away from Haley until she finds out Haley is pregnant. She becomes a good friend of Brooke, letting Brooke live with her after Brookes leaves Peytons place after their fight. Rachel and Brooke end up stealing the calculustest just to help Brooke pass math and therefore allowing her to graduate with her friends. Rachel takes the fall for their theft and gets expelled from school. She shows up at the highschool on prom night and talks mouth into leaving with her. Brooke confesses she was the one who cheated on the calculustest on graduationday and therefore principal turner allows Rachel to graduate in abscense.In season 5 Rachel is found staying at Brooke's New York apartment but apparently has a drugproblem. Brooke takes her home to Tree Hill where Rachel ends up stealing a bunch of money. Show less «
