He is introduced as one of the main antagonists of season three, despite his ties to the club. O'Phelan has a long history with Chibs, whom he maimed, kicked out of the IRA and Ireland. He also stole Chibs' wife, Fiona, and adopted his daughter, Kerrianne. He is in the crosshairs of Agent June Stahl, with the Bureau of Tobacco, Alcohol and Firearms and has dealings with the Russian Mafia. He is power hungry and not trustworthy.
