Wynn Duffy is a low-level member of the Dixie Mafia when he isn't running his security installation business for wealthy clients (which doesn't seem to be very often). For the mob, Duffy mostly operates as a loan collector, employing whatever threats or direct physical harm is necessary to convince the debtor to pay up. Like others in town, however, he is an opportunist and has no real loyalties to any one organization. Wynn is reminiscent of the stereotypical used car salesman, a smooth and slick operator whose motives are almost always suspect. Naturally, U.S. Deputy Marshal Raylan Givens can barely stomach the man, which doesn't seem to bother Wynn in the slightest.
