Tersea Lisbon was a Senior Agent and Team Leader in the Major Crimes Division of the California Buearu of Investigation befor it was disbanded. She is originally from Chicago. Her mother dies in a car accident and her father succumed to drunkeness, leaving her to raise her three brothers, who call her Reese. She went to college in San Francisco, and stayed there after graduating. She later joined the SFPD, and became an Inspector. She was credited with solving a high profile pedophile case. She would later join the CBI. At bothe SFPD and CBI her training officer was Sam Bosco. It was her team that was given the Red John case when the CBI took it over from Sacremento PD. On the orders of the Senior Agent Minelli, Patrick Jane joined her team. Lisbon is frequently frustrated with Jane's antics, but will often end up backing him, even a cost to herself. Madeline Hightower made her totally responsible for Jane, putting her in an even more precarious position. After the CBI was disbanned, she became the chief of police in a small town in Washington State. Jane later convinced her to join the FBI in Austin, Texas. She eventually agreed, admitting that her job was boring. The team was lead by Dennis Abbott, and included Kimball Cho, Kim Fisher, Wiley, and of course, Jane. While on a joint case with Art Theft Investigation, she ment Agent Pike, and entered into a serious relationship with him. Prior to that she had not been very socially active; she'd had a fling with billionaire playboy Walter Mashburn, and there was a mention of her once dating someone in Narcotics. She considered moving to DC with Pike, but decided to stay in Texas when Jane admitted his love for her, and she admitted that she felt the same way.
