Paige is the daughter of Phillip and Elizabeth Jennings -- the American names of a pair of Soviet KGB spies who are on a years-long deep undercover mission to infiltrate the U.S. government and collect information. Paige was born in the United States and has no idea what her parents' lives are really about. As far as she's concerned, they live a perfectly normal suburban life outside of Washington, D.C., and her parents run a small travel agency. Paige seems to be a good kid, despite the occasional typical teenage disagreements with her parents -- more often her mother. She quickly develops a friendship with Matthew Beeman, the teenage son of FBI Agent Stan Beeman, who happens to live across the street from the Jennings family.
