Nina works at the Soviet Embassy in Washington, D.C., and is quickly turned into an FBI informant after she is blackmailed by FBI Agent Stan Beeman, who discovers that she is buying high-priced electronics in the U.S. and selling them on the black market back home. This could get her in serious trouble with her government.Over time, Nina becomes more and more willing to give Stan the information he needs, rather than seeming as if she's forced to do it.
