This episode left us with a few intense revelations as a send off to next week. Part of what makes this season much stronger than the previous one is the way it is broken - that is, the parceling out of various stories for each episode.
Many of the hurtful words and phrases used to insult and demoralize the ostracized groups in these Supergirl episodes are not new - in fact, they have been taken from recent rhetoric.
Still suffering from kryptonite poisoning, Kara had one job on Sunday's Supergirl: to stay behind and let her fellow DEO agents handle the city's growing anti-alien terrorism problem.
The episode provided a lot of opportunity for character growth. Furthermore, it paved the way for the introduction of another beloved DC character that is going to have a lot to say about the events that have taken place.
While it can be a powerful tool, rage can lead to some pretty stupid responses whether they be physical, verbal, or otherwise. "Ahimsa" takes a look at political action through a pacifist lens, or it at least starts to.
This is probably the weakest episode of the season so far, and it's still a hugely enjoyable one to watch. That speaks to the groove Supergirl has found for itself this season.
