Naomi Clark is a West Beverly High School student on the television show 90210 . She can be stereotyped as the mean girl of West Bev, who is extremely privileged. Naomi is close friends with Adrianna Tate-Duncan and Erin Silver. Both her parents are absent the majority of the time - her father is an adulterous man and her mother takes off early in the series. During the second season, Naomi's older sister Jen moves into the house becoming her guardian. Naomi has had relationships with Ethan Ward and Liam Court. The latest of which, Liam, ended after she discovered he had a one night stand with a girl she assumed was Annie Wilson. However, unknown to Naomi, Jen was the one he slept with. Naomi is often compared with the character of Kelly Taylor, from the 1990s series Beverly Hills, 90210 . They both have absentee parents, struggle with the label of the mean girl, and come from privileged families. When newbies Annie and Dixon Wilson arrive it is very clear that she is the Queen Bee at West Bev and sets out to destroy anyone who hurts her or that she thinks hurts her and is ruthless about it. In the beginning of the series, Naomi seems very cruel and vicious in her pursuit of others she is at odds with and also thinks that her beauty can get her further than anything and uses it as a ploy, which comes back to haunt her when she previously falsely accuses the media teach, Mr. Cannon, for making sexual advances at her which she admits to but then is raped by him.Though Naomi seems shallow and cruel at times, she is very loyal to a fault and the fault being that she sometimes trusts the wrong person. She and Annie share a half brother and when someone claiming to be him shows up at Annie's doorstep, Annie exposes him as a fraud which upsets Naomi. Her parents are not around very often so she has had to basically raised herself with the help of older sister Jen. And some of it could be her need to get attention from her parents.She has several relationships during the series, one of which was with Liam Court. She pursues him viciously then at a post prom party, it is known that Liam had sex with someone who Naomi thinks is Annie Wilson but was her sister Jen. In the middle of season 2, Naomi finds out the truth and learns a very valuable lesson when Annie goes out with Jasper who is a drug dealer after alienating Annie from others at their school. Realizing how wrong she was about everything she did to Annie, Naomi tries to help Annie get away from Jasper and the two become close friends.Naomi evolves over the course of the series from a petty spoiled rich girl to a very dynamic, loving, caring person who really wants to help others and becomes more interested in who people are and not what they look like or if they are rich or popular or what they can do for her. Sometimes when she tries to help, she ends up making a mess.Though she has some qualities that are negative, she is actually a very caring person who wants to connect with other people and be accepted. She also has some wonderful qualities one of her finest is the loyalty she has towards those she loves and cares about, another is her protectiveness as she goes from the Queen Bee to the Mama Bear. She is very intense in her relationships including her marriage to Max which ends on very friendly terms. Show less «
