Eileen Rand (Anjelica Huston)Eileen Rand is a wildly successful Broadway producer who has produced many shows over the course of a 25-year career.She produced all of those shows with her husband Jerry, however, and they are in the middle of a bitter divorce.Eileen commissions the award-winning duo of lyricist/book writer Julia Houston and songwriter Tom Levitt to write a new show based on the life of Marilyn Monroe called Bombshell. It will be her first attempt at producing without her husband's name or financial connections.According to her Playbill listing Eileen is the winner of five Tony Awards, seven Drama Desk Awards and three Olivier Awards.On Broadway, she has produced a range of hits, from Proof, Wit and Columbus Blue, to Heaven on Earth, Grey Gardens and the long-running revival of Oliver! Rand has also produced a number of independent films, including the Sundance favorite Shelter Here, and two miniseries for HBO, The Cabaret of Miss Remington's Estate and Aaron Burr: National Enemy. In 1994, she founded the Eileen and Jerry Rand Scholarship at Juilliard for actors showing exceptional talent and promise. In 2009, she received a commendation from the New York City Council for her support of the arts and her humanitarian efforts with underprivileged youth. She has been listed in New York Magazine's list of the 100 most influential women in New York City twice, in 2006 and 2011. She currently lives on the Lower East Side.
