Mike Figueroa is an actor, police officer and active military member.Figueroa is a beloved mentor at Actors Playground School of Theater, one of the most highly regarded acting schools for kids and teens in the greater New York City area. He regularly volunteers his time to train with the students as well as act in various school projects.Beyond his acting career, Figueroa works as a Sheriff Officer. He has also served as a Staff Sergeant in the United States Army Reserve for the past 15 years. During his military duty, Figueroa has spent time in combat overseas, and continues to teach an array of courses including counter improvised explosive device tactics, route reconnaissance, driver training for armored vehicles and more.Figueroa has been an Aikido instructor for 10 years. He has also held belts in Tae Kwon Do, Kempo karate, Muay Thai and kick boxing.Figueroa graduated from St. Thomas Aquinas College with a degree in Criminal Justice and Psychology.
