Linn Bjørnland, born in Scotland, grew up on Jeløya a small island outside Moss, Norway. She left home at age 15 to study at Fagerborg in Oslo, a professional ballet program where she trained with the Norwegian National Ballet School. She continued her education in London at Bird College where she discovered acting as an extension of dance. Her career then took to her to New York, under the tutelage of distinguished acting coach James Price, she earned a glowing review from the New York Times for her performance as the title character in an off Broadway production of Hedda gabler.A growing passion for film and television lead her to Los Angeles which quickly embraced her landing roles on such shows as HBO's True blood, NBC's Grimm, TNT's Leverage, CW's Hart of Dixie, and the upcoming CBS medical drama Code black, as well as the lead role in the upcoming independent feature The unbreakable sword opposite Eric Roberts.Combining classical Hollywood elegance with modern sensibility and an international upbringing, Linn has the ability to inhabit a wide range of characters and roles.
