Two brothers Sam and Dean search for their missing father, the man who trained them to be warriors against supernatural evil. Though it was ultimately restored, they were unable to erase the horrifying and dangerous memories of Sam's time in the pit. Now, Sam and Dean stand united as brothers to face a new and unexpected threat.
It was nice seeing them [Sam and Dean] not only working together, but falling into their niche roles. The two have grown and progressed through countless big events, but they still manage to hold onto their trademark characteristics.
If the Supernatural season 7 premiere represents the caliber of storytelling that will be executed for the remainder of the season, there's no doubt that this may very well be the best year that the series has presented yet.
I approached the first episode of Season 7 with trepidation, along with a little anticipation that this season could still be great mixed in for good measure.
Welcome back, everybody. It's time for the seventh season of Supernatural, and I won't lie: I'm excited. I always forget how much I enjoy this show when we break for summer.
When Supernatural episodes are at their finest, the hour seems to fly by, and that was the case with "Survival of the Fittest." It was an engaging and tense hour from start to finish with satisfying pay-offs.
