Riverdale - Season 3 Episode 16: Chapter Fifty-One: Big Fun
Season 3 comes back with events and events that seem more exciting than the previous season. This season, barriers threaten to delay the opening of the dialogue, which will make Betty and Jughead follow different lines. Maybe Archie will make a tough decision after he gets unwanted attention. It seems that everything is complicated and everyone is still struggling to find solutions.
Chapter Fifty-One seamlessly and cleverly melds the season long arc with the self-contained concerns of this episode, earning the genuine eeriness of its final moments.
I actually think that having to mash-up the ongoing Riverdale storylines with the showtunes in a way that doesn't feel forced was a Herculean task...and one that was accomplished seamlessly.
The best episodes are the ones you cannot stop thinking about, the ones you want a companion by the water cooler to mull over every detail. Big Fun was this episode and literally chock full of big fun.
The Riverdale kids took to the stage again for a school production of Heathers: The Musical - and it might be the most fun we've ever seen them have? (Maybe they should do more than one of these a year.)
