You may well hate the murderously venal Berlin station chief - though I still can't bring myself to - but you've got to love the artistry with which she has been depicted.
"The Litvinov Ruse" kept viewers on its feet with its classic Homeland surveillance approach to Allison's desperate escape... an escape that just might've turned into a victory for the traitorous agent.
The wonderful thing about this season of Homeland-the thing I probably haven't done right by in my reviews-is its methodical and disciplined approach to intelligence and espionage.
