Gotham - Season 3 Episode 19: Heroes Rise: All Will Be Judged
Season 3 opens with Gordon working in a monster-ridden Gotham as a bounty hunter and seeking to find answers about the Indian Hill escapees and why their powers appear to be killing them. Bruce's doppelganger roams the streets and Barbara and Tabitha open a nightclub called The Sirens.
Lee is the worst. And that's saying something on a show that includes Jim Gordon, a man who is like that hall monitor kid from school who seemed to revel in his power and his very specific idea of justice.
Despite a few moments of gory shock and awe, and a fun Riddler/Penguin truce, Gotham's just gotten in the habit of repeating itself -- be it abductions, crazy villains out to kill Jim, assaults on the precinct, or plots to level the city.
There's a lot to unpack on this week's episode of Gotham. From launching grand vengeance schemes to casting aside old rivalries and pain, each of our heroes and villains is making moves that will definitely have an impact on the city's history.
This episode actually belongs to Robin Lord Taylor and Cory Michael Smith. Eddie and Oswald were given the least to do here, and made the absolute most of it.
