In Season Seven, a near-fatal accident during the filming of his latest action flick leaves Vince with a new lease on life that makes him even more difficult to manage. Meanwhile, Eric, Drama and Turtle must decide which steps to take to map out their increasingly complicated personal and professional lives. Eric feuds with an underling who he suspects of giving Vince drugs, and Turtle tries again to find success on his own terms ?
What's worse is that the end of season six presented no reason at all for the existence of a seventh--or a promised "seventh and a half" followed by a feature film.
Yes, Entourage has become somewhat predictable. But that can be a good thing, since it means it's reliably quick, verbally nimble, and casually vicious about the Hollywood world in which it revels.
With all of the main characters and supporting players involved in more and more peripheral pursuits, there is little time for the four friends to get together to shoot the breeze, meet some babes, or just have some fun.
This season's opener feels like it's content with laying a new bed of jokes on ground we've already covered. That doesn't mean the jokes aren't funny, or that we don't enjoy seeing the characters acting like their neurotic selves.
