This series focus on hip hop music and entertainment company, Empire Entertainment, and the drama about a family dynasty that follows the head of a music empire whose three sons and ex-wife all battle for his throne. A music mogul plans for the future of his empire after learning he has a disease in the series premiere of this drama, which follows his struggle to choose an heir as his three sons and his ex-wife battle each other to take over the hip-hop throne.
"False Imposition" ends with another fantastic Lucious and Cookie scene... Lucious looks longingly at Cookie as she sashays out of the room. He might not know it, but that emotion's not anything false.
Empire resiliently bounced back after last week's dismal installment... with "False Imposition," an episode that certainly gave us a better understanding of these characters and their motives than have previous episodes.
Aside from the great Lucious/Cookie scenes, there was plenty to like this week, as this show just keeps churning out great episode after great episode. It's seriously one of the most entertaining shows out there.
