This series focus on hip hop music and entertainment company, Empire Entertainment, and the drama about a family dynasty that follows the head of a music empire whose three sons and ex-wife all battle for his throne. A music mogul plans for the future of his empire after learning he has a disease in the series premiere of this drama, which follows his struggle to choose an heir as his three sons and his ex-wife battle each other to take over the hip-hop throne.
This wasn't my favorite "Empire" episode so far, but 43 TV minutes with Cookie is consistently better than most 43 TV minutes that don't include Cookie.
Another week, another winner. Empire Season 1 Episode 6 was pretty much a slam dunk from start to finish, with Cookie once again proving that she is not to be messed with.
you look at Empire closely, not many of those shocking moments actually move the story that much farther forward. It's eye-catching glitz hides a deceptively, frustratingly slow-moving long game.
Whoever it may be, Empire is proving that it has a big enough umbrella to fit everyone from Naomi Campbell and Cuba Gooding Jr., to Judd Nelson and Antwone Fisher star Derek Luke underneath.
Though the latest episode of Empire offers plenty to talk about, I must highlight Jamal's newly revealed (and increasingly complex) storyline -- which had me shaking my head and picking my mouth up off the floor at the same time.
You do not want to miss the first five minutes from this week's jam-packed episode of the year's most outrageously entertaining new hit. As usual, Cookie (the fabulous Taraji P. Henson) steals the scene with abandon.
