Awkward but socially popular friend of Tommy Ross and George Dawson, The Beak is present when Carrie comments on Tommy's poem, throwing a paper ball at Norma. He is the class jokester always cracking jokes at improper moments. He helps Tommy pick out his tuxedo but does not think he would look right in one cause he doesnt have a tuxedo body. he apparently does not like ruffles . he finds one and is one of the people nice to Carrie at the prom and even takes her picture for the yearbook. Once Carrie's revenge starts, he tries to help carry Tommy away from the stage, but is unsuccessful and he later dies in the fire started by Carrie in the gym. Show less «
