He wore a holly wreath on his head, and a dark green gown, lined with white fur. He carried with him a burning piece of wood.Scrooge first met the Ghost of Christmas Present, when he woke up in his bed, and saw a bright light from the room next door, which he VERY rarely went in. He heard a voice calling him, so he got out of bed and went into the room next door. The room was filled with Christmas decorations everywhere, and there was a LOT of food. The spirit was sitting on a pile of food. He takes Scrooge to several radically differing scenes (a joy-filled market of people buying the makings of Christmas dinner, the family feast of Scrooge's near-impoverished clerk Bob Cratchit, a miner's cottage, and a lighthouse among other sites) in order to evince from the miser a sense of responsibility for his fellow man. - WikipediaAfter spying on Fred and his fmily, Scrooge sees two ragged children next to the spirit, and he asks what will become of them. The spirit asks Scrooge why he should care, as he knows Scrooge dislikes the poor. When Scrooge hears this, he is ashamed, but then he hears a bell, and the spirit is nowhere to be seen, and so Scrooge is left alone, in this empty, mysterious place. Show less «
