The Ghost of Christmas Past is a spirit that haunted 45 Lime Street, London, at about 11pm on Christmas Eve, in 1843.At this time, Ebenezer Scrooge lived at the house. The spirit resembled a young human female, dressed in a white dress, and who glowed with a blazing pale blue light., although in some versions of the story the Spirit is male. She/He carried with her a branch of holly, in one hand, and a Victorian-era fire-extinguisher in the other hand.Scrooge is asleep, in bed, when the spirit arrives. He wakes up, when the curtains on his four-poster bed are drawn by him/her. She/he takes Scrooge to the scenes of his boyhood and youth which stir the old miser's gentle and tender side by reminding him of a time when he was more innocent. - WikipediaWhen Scrooge has had enough reminiscing, but the spirit has not, Scrooge snatches the fire extinguisher from her, and slams it over his/her head, covering his/her body. As soon as he does this, he instantly finds himself back in his bedroom.
