Kiki is a tomboyish, tough member of the Midnight Society. Gary describes her stories as often being about real people trapped in unreal worlds. For a long time their protagonists were usually African-American like her or another minority, and most of the female protagonists were active or enjoyed sports. Most of her stories involve characters finding themselves in harm's way by their not realizing what powerful forces they're dealing with or by thoughtlessness.She is good friends with Frank, Gary, and Betty Ann. She loves to tease the other members of the Midnight Society, especially Tucker and Stig, whom she knows and hates when Tucker introduces him to them.
