Jai Wilcox is an ambitious and arrogant CIA officer, with aspirations to advance within the agency. He works hard to distance himself from his father Henry Wilcox, the former Director of Clandestine Services at the CIA before Arthur Campbell. On Arthur's orders, Jai initially befriends Annie to get more information on Ben Mercer, her former lover, although she is unaware of Ben's connection to the agency. Ben and Jai have a different sort of history.Toward the end of season two, Jai begins to suspect there is a mole at the agency.Background: Jai's mother is a neurosurgeon from Mumbai who met his father when he was stationed there and she was his asset. Their relationship blew her cover and they eventually married, but he left her for a younger woman. Jai is recently returned from a posting in London, at the personal request of Arthur Campbell. Jai has a very strained and distant relationship with his father, who is patronizing to him and belittles his professional skills.
