Born in Yokohama, Rina Hoshino spent her adolescent years in Japan until the age of 13 whereupon she relocated to Mercer Island, WA throughout her high school years. Upon graduation, Hoshino enrolled at the Lee Strasberg Theatre Institute LA as a full-time student. Rina's television appearances & voiceover credits include: The 85th Hollywood Christmas Parade (CW), Bones (Fox), Regular Show (Cartoon Network), Archer (FX), Raiden V (Xbox One) Sunny Side Up! (Sprout), Video Game HS (Netflix), and GoWest! (Elephant Prods). Rina has also voiced Little Piyo's Adventure, a bi-lingual children's book series that was widely released by Apple/iBookstore and Gakken Co, Ltd in 51 countries and has been downloaded over 130million times world wide. Rina happily resides in Los Angeles and continues to train in acting, voice, and languages. Rina is fluent in Japanese and English. She also stays very active with her physical training, martial arts, and hand to hand combat. Rina is a long-time member and support of Inner Circle Theatre. Rina believes that acting provides her with the opportunity to connect with those who feel like they do not belong to any one culture. Through harnessing the exceptional power of the cinema experience, she hopes to bridge societies and social structures to help bring people from all across the globe just a little closer together. Hoshino also reminds herself to be open to any aesthetic grounds so she can be ready to take risks in every window of great opportunity that might illuminate her life.
