Raised in Brooklyn, New York. Spent much of her teens and early 20s gallivanting in the glitz of the New York City nightlife, where she was scouted and photographed by a variety of notorious photographers. Wrote and performed (Off-Broadway in New York) a one-woman piece, entitled "A Banquette and a Cocktail Table", about this experience for which she received her first industry recognition and acclaim as an actress. Received a B.A. from Sarah Lawrence College. Also spent time in South Africa researching political/protest theater. Currently divides her time between New York and Los Angeles. Show less «
