At the age of 11, Navia Robinson is a shooting star in it's inception. The confident and self-driven quadruple threat, who is also an honor student at Johnson Ferry Christian Academy, has known her destiny from a very early age and has continued to showcase her talents at levels that have attracted many major opportunities.Navia perfected her gifts and skills through her training at various acting schools and workshops in Atlanta and Los Angeles and is being represented by J. Pervis Talent Agency of Atlanta and CESD in Los Angeles and New York. In the summer of 2011, Navia performed in her first national talent competition at the Actors, Models and Talent for Christ "Shine Event" in Orlando, Florida where she was a top ten finalist in the categories of acting, singing solo, singing troupe and fashion runway modeling, and was awarded the honor of Overall Top Child Model. As a result of her success at AMTC, she attained representation with Generation Model Management of New York.Navia's resume includes, filming national commercials for Moe's Southwest Grill, Dr. Charles Stanley's In Touch Ministries, Smithfield Foods, Inc., a promotional web campaign for the Boosterthon Fun Run Organization and rocking the runway for rising fashion icon Jason Christopher Peters. She has most recently completed regional and national commercials with AT&T, Golden Corral Restaurants, Synovus Bank, and was invited by Disney executives to attend and participate in their intensive two-week boot camp in Los Angeles, CA in the summer of 2015.Navia's television career began by recurring as D'Asia, the young niece to Gabrielle Union's character, Mary Jane, in the ground-breaking pilot and ongoing subsequent series of BET Network's "Being Mary Jane". In early 2016 Nicki Manaj hand picked Navia for her new pilot about her life growing up in Queens entitled "NICKI" which was shot for the Freeform Network formerly known as ABC Family.
