Originally from Atlanta, Georgia, Michelle is a recent graduate of NYU's Tisch School of the Arts. Shortly after graduation, Michelle booked a Lead in her first feature, 212, a film by newcomer director, Anthony Ng. The Film premiered at Sundance 2005 and continued to win the hearts of audiences at the Woodstock, Atlanta, Florida, and Stockholm film festivals, amongst others.While the film awaits distribution, Michelle has relocated to Los Angeles, dyed her hair brown, and has been quite busy her first couple years there, making 7 additional films and 2 commercials.One of the films, I kicked Luis Guzman in the face, which is soon to enter the festival circuit, was Exec. Produced by Jack Bender, and also stars Luis himself. Additionally, she just shot a supporting role in the film "Confessions of a Shopaholic, " starring Isla Fisher and has high hopes for the indie feature "Sons of Liberty" which is just hitting festivals as well.She also sings, plays guitar and bass, and fronted the two folk rock bands, "Spitfire" and "Dollface" in New York City. In addition to her current quarters in LA, she is also a local hire in New York City, New Jersey, Atlanta, and Florida (and thus some parts of Louisiana). Show less «
