Kenji Nakamura was born in Osaka, Japan, the first of two sons to Kazuyo (mother) and Yoshiharu (father), where they lived until moving to Kyoto at age 14.As a young child, Kenji became deeply fascinated with western entertainment after watching Star Wars and Alien with his father at the theater. He also enjoyed Japanese comedy and variety shows, thus realizing his own passion for entertaining others. At age 19, he moved to Tokyo in pursuit of his acting career where attended Zen Hirano Acting Seminar for the next four years. Upon completion at Zen Hirano, he moved to San Diego, CA for a one year English course at UCSD in preparation to study at The Stella Adler Academy of Acting.His four years with Stella Adler led him to his agent, and he has since appeared in a number of theatre productions, commercials, tv sitcoms, movies, and two foreign projects. He is a former member of The Secret Rose Theatre Group in North Hollywood, having led his own improv group for nearly two years. Show less «
