2 Broke Girls infuses the classic comedy with something new, current and young, proving life can be fun. With Caroline despondent over the upcoming auction of her family property, Max joins her for a visit to her imprisoned father. He tells her to attend the auction and buy at any cos. Max believes that there is money hidden in the cup and convinces a disguised Caroline to attend the auction.
It actually makes me wonder if 2 Broke Girls would thrive if the girls packed up and moved to Los Angeles, a place where the writers actually know about.
For me, it is simple: if it's a sitcom and if it makes me laugh, it has done its job. Even if those laughs are sometimes accompanied by a groan or eye roll.
