A native Californian, her exotic looks are attributed to her Swedish, Welsh, Native American, Filipina and Spanish heritage. After moving to Los Angeles from San Diego, her first film audition landed her the lead role in the independent feature TV Virus, working opposite such notables as Eric Pierpoint from Alien Nation and Casey Biggs from Star Trek: Deep Space Nine. This was surprising, since she did not audition for the lead, but rather a smaller, supporting role. Unbeknownst to her at the time, the director and producers auditioned more than 100 actresses for the lead role of Michelle.Landing another lead role in the tongue-in-cheek, big monster film Supercroc established her as an actress with international appeal and she received fan messages from all over the world. Appreciative of her fans, she personally replied to every single one. She has since appeared in highly-rated television shows such as Sons of Anarchy opposite Charlie Hunnam and also worked alongside Ariana Grande on Sam & Cat. She will next be appearing opposite Breaking Bad's RJ Mitte in the independent feature Who's Driving Doug.Off-screen she champions actors with disabilities and produced the short film Sleeping with the Bear, showcasing the talents of an actress who copes with a physical impairment. She also lends her support to veterans and attends events managed by organizations that assist their transition into civilian life.
