Charles Santy was born in the beautiful island of Puerto Rico in 1954. He was adopted a week after he was born . His Family moved to New York City in 1955. He grew up in the Bronx, New York. In junior High School his class was selected to take part in a new program which was the first band in that school. That is where he got the bug to be on stage. He attended De Witt Clinton High School from 1968 to 1971 as a junior. His family moved back to Puerto Rico where he joined a local Salsa Band as a bass guitarist and Singer/Writer. In 1974 he moved back to New York City to pursue his music career. In 1979 he got married and started a family and put his aspirations on hold. In 1991 he decided to go for his dream and to try his luck as an Actor. Within a year he booked a commercial for "US Healthcare" and joined S.A.G. After working on various Independent films and honing his craft as an actor, he was cast by Eriq La Salle in his Directorial debut _Rebound (1995)_. Shortly after that he met Stunt Coordinator Peter Bucossi. He started working as a Stuntman as well as an Actor. He has been very fortunate to have worked with many well known Actors and Directors. He has been writing since the late 1990s. In 2004 he wrote/directed and Acted in a S.A.G. short film "The Lounge". He is currently working on a couple more projects that he wrote and is looking forward to Directing in 2007. Show less «
