Alex Tavis, is a NY based, experienced international stage, voice,and screen actor. He is an adaptable, savvy and presence filled performer with theatre credits ranging from leads in Lincoln Center Festival, Theatre for the New City, Village Playwrights, RADA, Ensemble Studio Theatre, Cherry Lane Theatre, Articulate Theatre Co., Abingdon Theatre to TV shows: Wall Street Warriors to Law and Order to recurring roles on One Life to Live, All My Children, as well as critically acclaimed indie films Chapter and Verse, upcoming Curtsy, Mister; and Multi Platform New Media comedies Ivy League CrimeLords, Living In Exile, and These Three Girls. Alex also enjoys periodic professional stints in London and Los Angeles, and lives in Brooklyn with his wife and two sons. Alex serves on the Alumni Association Board of Directors of Manhattanville College, on both the SAG-AFTRA NY MOVE and National Organizing Committees, the Brooklyn Friends School Fund; is a member of multi Obie Award winning Theater Three Collaborative, and of the Articulate Theatre Company.
