Watch what you allow yourself to listen to or who you allow the gift of your presence. You can take a long bath, bath yourself in cologne or sweet perfumes, and put on brand new clothes, but once you step in a garbage truck, and stand there, not doing nothing, trust me, you will stink just like the garbage. Of course, garbage is a metaphor for anything negative, bad or just plain trash; men, women, friends, habits. Show less «

I have been enamored by darker side of things since watching the Creature Features television program when I was eight years old. I knew the moment I saw The Creature from the Black Lagoon, Abbott and Costello Meets Frankenstein and Hitchcock's Psycho that I wanted to write science fiction and pursued a BFA from Long Island University. The stories which seemed immovable from my thought process and have influenced me greatly are Parable of the Sower, Neuromancer, The Stand, Night of The Living Dead and every episode from the Twilight Zone series. Believe it or not, Dead World Living (my first manuscript/novel) was influenced by the very first novel I read as a ten year old boy, Escape From Witch Mountain by Alexander Key; talk about how important first impressions are.
