Inspired by the drama where the last season stops that follows the battles of two youthful Mexican American sisters, Emma and Lyn, who have different characters and need to come back to their hometown in the East side of Los Angeles, where they face the ghastly facts about their mom. In this new season, Emma and Lyn have made a high success in both individual and expert life.
I'm sorry we won't get a fourth season to watch Emma and Lyn solidify Vida's vital place in the neighborhood; it feels like a miracle, though, that this little gem of a show even got the three seasons it did.
Vida reflects life in all of its messiness,..In the series we see both good and the bad, but more importantly, we see how we can grow, learn, and ultimately transform ourselves.
Vida's six-part farewell season also feels gangly, its ambitions outstripping its execution. I'm only being as hard on the show as I am because, for most of its run, it's been a triumph of personal vision and uncompromising complexity.
