Adaya Jaye is no stranger to breaking ground. In a time before buzzwords like inclusion and diversity became Hollywood topics of norm, she played a breathtaking Antigone amidst a cast of all Caucasian players to standing ovation. In that moment she vowed not to let barriers and convention keep her from her success.In her earliest days she attended a performing arts school after a private academy rescinded her scholarship. It was at her new place of learning that she fell in love with the arts and began cultivating her acting, singing and writing abilities.Today she uses her creative skills and life experiences to give voices to underrepresented communities of women and is eager to continue breaking ground as she brings these stories to a screen near you.
