The CW does this nifty thing with its filler episodes where, despite them being filler, they still typically have a good enough baddy and some type of message involved.
The show is digging its heals into the "rebirth" idea with a show, anchored by it's more guilt free and light spirited hero, that's willing to take on the optimistic mantle once more.
he second episode, "Mixed Signals," is truly a delight... the show takes time to focus on character relationships, and not just romantic relationships.
Mixed Signals is only the second episode... but it's the series' best outing in a long time -- possibly even since its first season. Why? Because the show figures out how to be fun again.
