Star Wars: The Bad Batch - Season 1 Episode 04: Cornered
All of this is fine, obviously, if a little light. It's still nice to see Clone Force 99 rallying around Omega, but The Bad Batch season 1, episode 4 lacks a big emotional punch or any wider worldbuilding detail.
The chase through the Pantoran streets and skies is exhilarating, the depth of animation and character quality is incredible and the accompanying music thrilling, which gives hope to seeing other familiar and unfamiliar worlds shown in such superb detail
I hope the Bad Batch wise up to teach Omega some defensive skills. First off: stranger danger. But if there's anything we know about the kid, this experience is burned into her brain.
"Cornered", which was directed by Saul Ruiz and written by Christian Taylor, plays with our emotions even more in an earlier scene where Fennec approaches a lost Omega with a smile and an offer of purloined food.
