Another season of that animation series starts with substantially more excitement that follows the every day action and battles of Jedi Knights, a youthful gallant warrior, who gives a valiant effort to battle evils, as she drives the bold armed force against the malevolent one. In this new season, Rex and Bad Batch go in a risky mission.
It's the brief breath of air that keeps the audience invested in the fates of the soldiers on screen, building up their characters by showing who they are when they aren't fighting for their lives.
If you're already a fan of The Clone Wars, this initial return suggests a finale that fulfills the promise of everything that's come before. It's beautiful, action-packed, and rich in themes and emotion.
The animation is better than ever, the spirit of the series-a more character-based version of the stories told between "Attack Of The Clones" and "Revenge Of The Sith" are as compelling as ever.

While I'm not particularly sold on the Bad Batch being "truly" bad, or even all that complicated, they do provide an off-kilter dynamic that may lead to some interesting developments down the line.
