While "Pukana (Keepsake)" wasn't a masterpiece by an stretch, it managed to elevate itself above filler status with intrigue and yet another tear-jerking closer.
You don't usually come to Hawaii Five-O to think, or to feel, or to learn about a tragic miscarriage of justice that took place more than 70 years ago, but the episode, titled "Ho'onani Makuakane", easily scores with all three.
[It] was so jam-packed... there was barely a second to catch your breath. All of which makes sense - there is A LOT going on as season 4 of Hawaii Five-0 begins, and this episode did its absolute best to touch on all of it.
