In the fourth season, we are introducing a new series of powerful dramas, as Chuck faces a new threat because of his new career aspirations that have been planned for a long time. On the other hand, Wendy and Axe are meeting again for a plan to block Taylor's work in as little time as possible. Taylor thinks of getting into a business with a partner that might completely change the course of things
"Arousal Template," perhaps more than any other episode, explores the way sex and power are intertwined, especially in this world of high finance and dirty politics.
I loved watching Taylor outsmart everyone in this episode, but given that it's only the beginning of the season, this kind of a major victory so early on makes me wary - and intrigued - for what's to come next.
There was a lot to savor in this episode but something that really stuck with me was how completely enjoyable it was watching Chuck and Axe work together to screw Panay over so they can both get what they want.
Chuck is back into Axe's orbit, this time without the knives out. In an episode that's all about power plays, it's a reminder that no bridge is ever truly burned in this world...
