Veronica Grant lived in the 152 Riverside Drive building where Joe Fox and Patricia Eden shared an apartment. She was with them in the building's elevator when it became stuck between floors. She vowed that if she ever got out of the elevator, she'd start speaking to her mother again. She has a lapdog.According to a You've Got Mail screenplay once posted on the Web, Veronica was an author who had been published by Eden Books, where Patricia was Managing Editor.
